Schedule and Syllabus

Peer Learning Group 1 (Intermediate): Measuring the Networked Nonprofit: This peer group will help participants learn and improve their organizational measurement practices related to implementing networked strategies and social media. Each session will be based on a chapter from the book, “Measuring the Networked Nonprofit,”. The monthly conference calls and webinar will share a case study, framework, and tips. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss and share how they can apply techniques to improve their organization’s use of social media or networks by collecting and making sense of metrics. Between meetings, participants will work on implementing one small step or technique or design and implement an action learning project. Participants will use this wiki to keep an action learning journal and regularly communicate through a private Facebook Group. There will be a learning culmination at the end of the program, an opportunity for participants to formally present how they improved or made measurement learning an organizational habit or their action learning project.
